Our vision at DPS is to transform education into a truly community-driven effort. By making public education genuinely public, we aim to involve all stakeholders—parents, teachers, local leaders, and the broader society—in shaping the future of education. We believe that education is not just the responsibility of schools but of society as a whole. The belief that “education is the work of society” drives everything we do.

“Empower every child with high-quality education, foster lifelong learning, eliminate financial barriers, and engage the community in a shared responsibility for the growth and success of each student.”

  • To Empower Every Child: Ensuring that each child, with equal focus on Girl Child and regardless of gender, economic background, or social standing, has access to high-quality education that fosters personal growth and learning.
  • Create Lifelong Learners: Developing a culture that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom and lasts throughout their lives.
  • Break Financial Barriers: Providing free education and necessary resources to ensure that financial constraints do not limit a child’s potential for growth and academic success.
  • Foster Community Collaboration: Actively engaging the community in the educational process, creating a sense of shared responsibility and partnership in shaping the future of children.

Fostering a Culture of Learning in Underserved Communities

Dhanpuri Public School aims to bridge educational gaps by providing quality education to children whose families may not fully recognize its significance. Our school is committed to creating a culture of learning that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

Ensuring Financial Barriers Don’t Hinder Education

We believe that financial limitations should never prevent a child from accessing education. DPS offers free education, resources, and support services to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their economic situation.

Where is it located?

Dhanpuri Public School is located in the town of Dhanpuri, an urbanized area within Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh.

The surrounding area is home to low-income families who primarily rely on daily wages and small businesses. Shahdol district is a backward region with limited educational opportunities. Local attitudes toward girls’ education remain traditional, with low enrollment rates beyond basic schooling, leading to high dropout rates, especially for young girls.

DPS students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including tribal communities and families who primarily earn through daily labor. Students come from diverse castes and backgrounds, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect among peers.

  • DPS is registered under the MP Board, adhering to the Right to Education Act (2009).

    DISE Code: 23161219802
    Recognition Certificate ID: PS120392

DPS serves students from Kindergarten (KG1) to Class 5, with plans to expand up to Class 8 under its middle-school registration.

DPS is driven by the community. We hold monthly Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to involve parents in student progress and establish an active School Management Committee (SMC) with community members and parents. This fosters a collaborative environment, with shared goals and continuous feedback to improve education quality for all.
