Hello to all ! I am Shahnaz Bee, a Hindi teacher and proud class teacher of KG1 at Dhanpuri Public School. Teaching these young children is a privilege and a joy, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to my vibrant class.
My 21 students—a group that includes 13 girls and 8 boys—bring energy, curiosity, and the boundless enthusiasm that only young children can. As I guide them in their early educational journey, my vision is to create a classroom where each child feels valued, learns with joy, and grows with confidence. For me, teaching is more than a profession; it’s about building a foundation that each of these children can carry forward throughout their lives.
Building a Foundation for Lifelong Learning
In our KG1 classroom, I work to instill both discipline and enthusiasm for learning. My vision is to nurture each child’s ability to communicate, both orally and in writing. This balanced approach helps them grow their skills and confidence, and it shows in the progress they make each day.

Our lessons begin with simple, essential topics that lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning. We cover concepts like:
Classroom rules
Colors and vegetables
Recognizing common animals
Basics of personal identity, like asking and answering “What is your name?” “What is your father’s/mother’s name?” “What is your school’s name?”
Age and what they are learning
Every day, these basics are reinforced through our routine. I believe that by introducing these concepts early and consistently, each child will carry this knowledge confidently into their future classes and experiences.
Fostering a Supportive Learning Environment
In my class, I see a beautiful mix of abilities. Eighteen of my students are excelling, understanding new concepts with ease and showing a natural curiosity. They are focused, bright, and motivated—qualities that make me excited for what they’ll achieve.

However, I also have three students who need a bit more guidance, and I am dedicated to helping them thrive. My hope is that, with my support, they’ll gain the confidence they need to succeed alongside their peers. I believe that every child has the potential to excel, and with gentle encouragement, they can overcome any challenge.
Beyond the Classroom: The Playground as a Learning Space
We are fortunate to have a small playground at Dhanpuri Public School. Recently, we began using this space regularly, and it has become an integral part of our day.
For my KG1 class, the playground is more than just a place to play—it’s a place where they learn cooperation, patience, and team spirit. Watching my students interact, laugh, and grow on the playground has shown me just how powerful learning outside the classroom can be. This playground has brought joy to my students and added a new dimension to their growth.
Dhanpuri Public School’s Mission: Education for All
Dhanpuri Public School is committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background. Our school is not only a place of learning; it’s a place of inclusion, encouragement, and empowerment.
Our mission goes beyond teaching—it’s about reaching every child, especially those who may not yet understand the importance of education. We work to guide them, to show them the value of learning, and to ignite a spark of curiosity that will stay with them for life.
Prioritizing Girls’ Education: A Key Part of Our Vision

One of the proudest missions of Dhanpuri Public School is our focus on educating girls. We believe that every girl deserves an equal chance to learn, grow, and pursue her dreams. As a teacher, I feel honored to support our young girls, helping them build the confidence and skills they’ll need to succeed.
At our school, girls’ education is a priority, and we work tirelessly to remove any barriers that might prevent them from reaching their full potential. Our hope is that every girl in our school will grow up feeling empowered, knowing she has the tools and support to make her dreams a reality.
A Vision for the Future
My vision for my KG1 class, and for Dhanpuri Public School as a whole, is to create an environment where every child feels valued and supported. I want my students to develop not just academically, but personally and socially, so they can carry these skills forward in life.
As their teacher, I am delighted to introduce these wonderful young minds to the world, each of whom has their own story, their own spark, and their own dreams. I invite you to take a closer look at the journeys of each of my KG1 students and witness the incredible impact they are already beginning to make.
