Nurturing Future Leaders: Muskan’s Journey at Dhanpuri Public School

Muskan Mam Holding Book

Hi, I’m Muskan, a 22-year-old from Dhanpuri, Madhya Pradesh. Coming from a middle-class family, I completed my postgraduate degree at APSC University. After that, I found myself with some free time at home, unsure of what to do next. That’s when I decided to step out and look for a job. I submitted my resume to Dhanpuri Public School (DPS), and after the interview, I joined as an intern. Now, as I complete four months here, I can honestly say that joining DPS was one of the best decisions of my life.

The Joy of Imparting Knowledge

Being a teacher has opened my eyes in so many ways. What I love the most is the chance to impart knowledge. There’s a unique joy in passing on what we’ve learned in life to the next generation. It’s incredibly satisfying to know that the values and lessons I’m sharing can shape these young minds. My goal is simple: I want to be the kind of teacher who teaches children things that will help them in the future—values like discipline, patience, and honesty. I want them to remember me not just for the lessons in the classroom but for the life lessons that guide them long after they leave school.

The Reward of Seeing Growth

Every time I see my students putting into practice something I’ve taught them, it fills me with so much happiness. That moment when you see a child understand and apply what you’ve been trying to teach—it’s priceless. One of the things I love most about DPS is that education here is completely free. Not only are the lessons free, but all the learning materials are provided without any cost. The school offers a well-rounded education, covering not just the core subjects but also computers, general knowledge, sports, art and craft, and even spoken English, all at no charge.

What stands out to me about DPS is how much effort is put into helping every child, especially those who struggle. Here, the focus is not just on high-achievers but also on those who might need a little more help. Extra attention is given to children who find learning challenging. This school is built on the belief that every child deserves an education, regardless of their financial situation. I deeply believe in this mission. My own goal is to teach these kids all the good things I’ve learned in life and help them grow into better individuals.

Building a Foundation for Success

DPS has provided all the facilities these children could need. The only thing they have to bring is their effort and their desire to learn. I often tell them that knowledge is crucial in life. It’s not just about scoring marks or passing exams; knowledge helps us understand the world, builds our confidence, and improves our careers. It’s not just for us, but it also benefits our families and society as a whole. That’s why I believe everyone should pursue education with full dedication.

Most of the children at DPS come from financially weaker backgrounds. The school was established to give free education to those who can’t afford it, and it’s beautiful to see how it changes their lives. Here, it’s not just about academics; we also focus on teaching them discipline and how to become good human beings. And it’s not just studies; art, craft, sports—these are all part of their growth here. It’s amazing to see how much these activities help the children discover their talents and build their confidence.

I am incredibly proud to be a part of this journey at DPS. Watching these children build their future step by step is the most rewarding part of my job. Education is a powerful tool, and I’m grateful to play a small role in helping these children unlock their potential. Thank you .
