At WES Foundation, we recently conducted a meaningful 3-day teacher training session with Sayan, focused on strengthening inclusive classroom practices, teacher confidence, communication, teamwork, and classroom leadership.

The training helped our teachers reflect on an important question:
How can every child feel seen, supported, respected, and included in the classroom?
Across the three days, teachers participated in group activities, presentations, discussions, role plays, and real-life school situation exercises. The sessions created a safe space for teachers to think deeply about student needs, classroom challenges, parent communication, and their own role in building a more caring learning environment.
Day 1 focused on classroom vision and confidence building.
Teachers reflected on what kind of classroom they want to create — a space where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to participate.
Day 2 focused on student empowerment and inclusive classroom management.
Teachers discussed how to support children with different learning levels, backgrounds, behaviours, and emotional needs, while building a positive and respectful classroom culture.

Day 3 focused on teacher attitude, communication, and real-life school situations.
Teachers practiced PTM scenarios and learned how to communicate with parents in a respectful, clear, and supportive way, especially when discussing a child’s learning or behaviour.
What made this training special was the strong focus on inclusion. Teachers learned that inclusion is not only about bringing every child into the classroom, but also about ensuring that every child feels they belong there.
Key outcomes of the training:
✅ Teachers became more confident in handling diverse classrooms
✅ Improved understanding of inclusion and child-sensitive practices
✅ Better communication skills for student and parent interactions
✅ Stronger teamwork and peer learning among teachers
✅ Improved ability to plan supportive and engaging classroom activities
✅ Greater awareness of emotional, academic, and behavioural needs of children
✅ More confidence in conducting PTMs and difficult conversations with parents

A heartfelt thank you to Sayan for guiding the sessions with clarity, energy, and practical learning experiences. His approach helped our teachers reflect, participate, and grow together.
At WES Foundation, we believe that inclusive teachers build inclusive classrooms — and inclusive classrooms create stronger learning journeys for every child.
