Global Learning & Career Insights by Maisha Kabir | SVC Session at WES Foundation

At WES Foundation, we recently hosted an inspiring SVC session with Maisha Kabir, who shared her journey from Bangladesh to institutions like Columbia University and New York University.

Through her story, students got a deeper understanding that learning goes beyond classrooms. She emphasized the importance of exploring opportunities, building skills, and actively engaging in activities outside academics to grow and succeed.

The session also introduced students to the work of Dream Opportunity, an organization focused on helping young learners connect with real career opportunities and industry leaders. Students learned how building the right connections and exposure can open new doors for their future.

The session was interactive and insightful — students were curious, engaged, and excited to learn about global opportunities and career pathways.
Students gained a new perspective on learning — understanding that growth comes not just from studying, but from exposure, networking, and taking initiative.

We are also excited about the possibility of future collaboration, where students can experience real-world exposure through visits and interactions beyond the classroom.

A heartfelt thank you to Maisha Kabir for sharing her journey and inspiring our students to dream bigger and aim higher. 🌱✨
