My name is Ravi Kant Chakravarti, and I come from a humble background in Dhanpuri. From a very young age, education has been a passion of mine. As a student, I was deeply committed to my studies, always finding joy in helping and teaching younger students. It became clear to me early on that teaching was not just a profession but a calling.
I’ve been teaching since I was quite young and have had the privilege of working at various schools over the years. My expertise lies in mathematics, and since June 2014, I’ve been associated with Dhanpuri Public School (DPS), which is part of the Wazir Education Society. Currently, I teach Maths to students of the 1st to 5th grades, and I must say, there’s no greater fulfillment than guiding young minds and seeing them grow.
Education: A Path to Success
In my experience, education is the foundation for success in any field. Without knowledge, it’s difficult to achieve anything in life. At DPS, we don’t just focus on academic learning; we make it our mission to help students understand the value of education. It’s our duty as teachers to inspire them, motivate them, and show them how learning can open doors to endless possibilities.
DPS, backed by the Wazir Education Society, is an incredible initiative. What makes this school unique is its commitment to offering free, quality education to students from all walks of life. We go the extra mile, reaching out to families in remote areas, encouraging children to join us, and demonstrating the importance of education in their lives. Our goal is simple: to give every child the tools they need to succeed in life, regardless of their background.

This school is a family to me. The Wazir Education Society has created an environment that feels like home, and it has inspired me to be part of this mission. I am proud to say that I am now fully committed to the work we do here, helping children from underprivileged backgrounds, girls who would otherwise be denied the right to education, and students facing financial struggles.
Innovative Learning Through Virtual Classes
One of the most exciting aspects of our curriculum is the virtual classes that we hold every Saturday. These classes are unique because we invite various professionals to speak with our students. The kids listen attentively, ask questions, and get inspired by these role models. It’s incredible to see how this exposure broadens their horizons and fuels their ambition to achieve great things.
The students often ask questions like, “What should we study to become successful?” and “How can we improve ourselves?” Hearing such questions from these young minds is truly heartwarming. As teachers, we encourage this curiosity and push them to dream big. We tell them, “One day, you will be the one speaking to a new generation of students, sharing your experiences and inspiring them.”
A Lifelong Commitment to Education
I have been deeply impressed by the Wazir Education Society and the incredible work they are doing through DPS. The school offers every facility a student could need, with teachers for every subject, and there is never a shortage of support. I am determined to stay connected with this mission for as long as I can, helping as many children as possible through their educational journey.
Teaching at DPS has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the bright futures of the children here. Together, we are creating a generation that will not only excel academically but will also grow into responsible and successful individuals.
