My name is Neetu Yadav, and I have the privilege of being a teacher at Dhanpuri Public School, which operates under the esteemed Wes Foundation. Coming from a middle-class family where every moment is shared and cherished, I’ve always understood the value of community, connection, and education. These values have shaped my journey and led me to a profession that I deeply cherish .

Growing up, I saw how education can transform lives. It wasn’t just about learning facts or figures; it was about understanding the world, developing critical thinking, and gaining the confidence to face challenges. This is why I decided to become a teacher. Teaching is more than a job for me; it’s a calling. It allows me to be part of a child’s growth, to witness their curiosity bloom into knowledge, and to see them develop the skills that will help them navigate life’s complexities.
A Vision for Change

What drew me to the Wes Foundation and Dhanpuri Public School was their unwavering commitment to education, especially for those who are often left behind. In many rural areas, girls are still expected to stay at home, learn household chores, and eventually marry. The idea that a girl’s only role is to manage the home is deeply ingrained in many communities. This mindset denies girls the right to dream, learn, and explore their potential beyond societal expectations.
The Wes Foundation, however, stands against this outdated belief. At its core, this NGO is dedicated to ensuring that every child, especially every girl, has access to quality education. They understand that when you educate a girl, you’re not just teaching one child; you’re educating an entire generation. An educated girl is more likely to marry later, have fewer children, and contribute positively to her community and society at large.
Breaking Barriers and Building Futures

At Dhanpuri Public School, our mission is clear: we provide free, quality education to children who would otherwise be unable to afford it. This includes not only tuition but also school supplies, uniforms, and even transportation. We want to remove every possible barrier that might prevent a child from attending school. The Wes Foundation operates like a ‘queen’ in a chess game, moving in any direction needed to reach those in need and ensure they have the opportunity to learn.
But our work is about more than just providing education; it’s about changing perceptions and transforming lives. We focus on girls because they are often the most marginalized. By giving them an education, we give them a voice, a chance to dream, and the tools to break free from the cycle of poverty.
A Message of Hope

I want every girl to know that her dreams are valid and achievable. The Wes Foundation and Dhanpuri Public School are here to support her journey. We are more than educators; we are partners in her growth, champions of her potential, and believers in her future. Education is not just about the present; it’s about building a foundation for tomorrow.
Together, we can break down barriers and build a world where every child, regardless of gender or financial status, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
My journey as a teacher is intertwined with the mission of the Wes Foundation. Together, we strive to create a better future, one where every girl is educated, every child is valued, and every dream is possible.
